UCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 – 32 Trade Vacancies, Apply Now

UCIL invites applications for Ex-ITI Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. These apprenticeships are based at UCIL’s facility in Tummalapalle, Andhra Pradesh.

Position Details

Total Vacancies: 32

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification:
   • Matriculation (10th standard) or equivalent.
   • ITI certificate in the relevant trade from NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training).
2. Age Limit (as of 13/01/2025):
   • Minimum: 18 years
   • Maximum: 25 years
   • Relaxation:
     • SC/ST: 5 years
     • OBC (NCL): 3 years
     • PwBD: 10 years
3. Exclusions:
   • Candidates who have completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible.

Stipend

• As per Rule 11 of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on merit, determined by the percentage of marks obtained in the ITI final examination.

   • Visit the official NAPS portal: apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
   • Register and upload the following documents:
     • Matriculation and ITI certificates
     • Caste certificate (if applicable)
     • EWS certificate (if applicable)
     • Medical certificate (for PwBD)
     • Aadhaar and PAN card
     • Bank account linked with Aadhaar
     • Proof for Land Displaced/Project Affected Persons (if applicable)
2. Application Deadline:
   • Start Date: 13th January 2025
   • End Date: 12th February 2025
3. Note:
   • Applications submitted prior to this advertisement or via offline mode will not be considered.

General Instructions

1. Reservation:
   • 3% of vacancies are reserved for Physically Handicapped candidates.
   • Preference:
     1. Land Displaced Persons (LDPs)
     2. Local candidates (within 5 km radius)
     3. UCIL employees’ wards
2. Employment Post-Training:
   • UCIL is not obligated to provide permanent employment after apprenticeship completion.
