Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- At least 3 years’ experience as Private Secretary, Personal Assistant, Stenographer, Executive Assistant, or Executive Secretary in Government/PSU/Autonomous Bodies/Universities/Educational Institutions.
- Skill Test Requirements:
- Dictation: 10 minutes at 100 words per minute.
- Transcription:
- 40 minutes (English) or 55 minutes (Hindi) on computer.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, email communication, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Office Management.
- Knowledge of service rules applicable in Central Government establishments.
Selection Process
- Written Test:
- Objective-type questions (150 marks).
- Areas: Subject-specific knowledge, general awareness, reasoning ability, mathematics, and English/Hindi.
- Descriptive Test:
- Subject-related descriptive questions (200 marks).
- Includes essays, situation-based questions, and knowledge of computers.
- Skill Test:
- Practical assessment of dictation, transcription, and computer proficiency.
