Syllabus:

The syllabus for the various trades includes fundamental concepts and practical knowledge as follows:

  • Fitter: Basic fitting tools, processes, and safety measures.
  • Electrician: Electrical circuits, wiring techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Welder: Welding techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Mechanic (Motor Vehicle): Engine components, maintenance, and repair techniques.
  • Computer Operator: Basic computer operations, MS Office, and internet usage.
  • Instrument Mechanic: Instrumentation principles, calibration, and maintenance.
  • Diesel Mechanic: Diesel engine operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Machinist: Machining processes, tools, and measurement techniques.
  • Electronics Mechanic: Basic electronics principles, components, and troubleshooting.

Selection Process:

  • Candidates will be selected based on their marks in the qualifying examination (10th and ITI).
  • A merit list will be created to shortlist candidates, with additional assessments for certain trades if necessary.

Training Duration:

  • Selected candidates will undergo a one-year training program under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
  • A stipend of ₹7,000 to ₹10,000 per month will be provided, depending on the trade and training location.
