Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years (as of 1st January 2025)
- Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years for UR, 13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST
- Ex-Servicemen: Total service period + 3 years
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed 10th class (Matriculation) under the 10+2 system with at least 50% marks.
- They must also hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT-recognized institution.
Selection Process
- No written examination or interview will be conducted.
- The selection will be based on merit, calculated as follows:
- 50% weightage to marks obtained in Matriculation.
- 50% weightage to marks obtained in ITI.
- If two candidates have the same marks, preference will be given to:
- The older candidate.
- If their date of birth is also the same, the one who passed Matriculation earlier will be considered.
