(BSCB) and District Central Co-operative Banks of Bihar are inviting applications from Indian citizens for the posts of Customer Service Executive/Assistant (Multipurpose). BSCB is authorized as a Nodal agency by the Registrar Cooperative Societies, Bihar, Patna, to facilitate direct recruitment for itself and District Central Co-operative Banks in Bihar. The appointments are provisional and subject to verification of documents and adherence to bank policies.
Post Details A total of 229 vacancies are available for Customer Service Executive/Assistant (Multipurpose) across The Bihar State Co-operative Bank Ltd. and various District Central Co-operative Banks of Bihar. The distribution of posts across institutions is as follows (provisional and may vary):

Reservation for PWD is horizontal and within the overall vacancies. Benefit of reservation is given only to permanent domiciles of Bihar.
Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.06.2025)
- Educational Qualification: Graduate or Equivalent from any UGC recognized university of India. Knowledge of Computer is essential with a Basic Diploma in Computer Application (DCA).
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years; Maximum 33 years. Candidates born not earlier than 02.06.1992 and not later than 01.06.2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- MBC/WBC/BC: 3 years
- Persons with disabilities: 10 years (15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for MBC/BC/WBC)
- No age relaxation for Ex-Serviceman as there is no reservation for them.

- Domicile: Benefit of reservation is for permanent domiciles of Bihar. Caste/Income & Asset certificates must be submitted by competent authority and as per prescribed formats.
Selection Process The selection process involves:
- Online Preliminary Examination: This will consist of English Language (30 questions, 30 marks), Reasoning (35 questions, 35 marks), and Quantitative Aptitude (35 questions, 35 marks) for a total of 100 questions and 100 marks, to be completed in 60 minutes.
- Online Main Examination: This will include Reasoning (40 marks), Computer Knowledge (40 marks), General Awareness (40 marks), English Language OR Hindi Language (40 marks), and Quantitative Aptitude (40 marks) for a total of 200 marks in 120 minutes.
- Negative Marking: For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks shall be deducted.
- Document Verification & Biometric Data Capture: Candidates will undergo document verification and biometric data capturing at various stages (before and after exams, at joining).
- Cut-offs: Cut-offs will be applied on scores in individual tests and on the Total Score. Selection will be on the basis of merit and preferences given by the candidate for various banks, provided a vacancy exists in that category in the preferred bank.

Examination Fee
- Rs. 800/-: For SC/ST/PHD candidates
- Rs. 1000/-: For Gen./OBC and others Payment of fees must be made online via the payment gateway in the application form and is non-refundable.
How to Apply Candidates must apply online only through the BSCB website: biharscb.co.in. No other mode of application will be accepted.
- Visit the official website biharscb.co.in and click on “APPLY ONLINE”.
- Register by choosing “Click here for New Registration” and entering Name, Contact details, and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated.
- Scan and upload photograph (4.5cm×3.5cm), signature (black ink), left thumb impression (black or blue ink on white paper), and a hand-written declaration (black ink on white paper). Ensure all scanned documents adhere to specifications (refer to Annexure III in the full advertisement for details).
- The hand-written declaration text is: “I, (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.” This must be in the candidate’s handwriting and in English.
- Candidates will also be required to capture and upload their live photograph using a webcam or mobile phone.
- Fill other details in the Application Form.
- Validate details and save the application.
- Preview and verify the entire application form before clicking ‘COMPLETE REGISTRATION’. No changes are possible after this step.
- Proceed to payment by clicking the ‘Payment’ Tab.
- After successful payment, an e-Receipt will be generated. Take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form.
- All candidates are compulsorily required to furnish a mobile number and E-mail ID in the online form, which must be kept active until the completion of the recruitment process.
