Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- PGT:
- Post-Graduation in the respective subject with a minimum of 50% marks.
- B.Ed. with at least 50% marks.
- TGT:
- Graduation in the subject applied for, with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed. or equivalent qualification.
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree and 50% marks in the subject are also eligible.
- PRT:
- Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a four-year B.El.Ed.
- Candidates with B.Ed. must complete a six-month bridge course in elementary education within two years of appointment.
- TGT (Special Educator):
- Graduation with B.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (General) with a one-year diploma in Special Education.
Age Limit (as of 1 April 2025)
- Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years.
- Experienced Candidates: Below 57 years (with 5 years of experience in the last 10 years).
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
- Teaching Skill Test: Assessment of teaching methodology and presentation skills.
- Computer Proficiency Test: Evaluation of basic computer knowledge.
- OST Qualification: Candidates with a valid Online Screening Test (OST) score of 50% or higher will be preferred. OST qualification is mandatory within two years of appointment.
