Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications (as on 21/07/2025)
- Agriculture Field Assistant (Jr) (07/25): Class XII (Science) from a recognized Board/Institution.
- Data Entry Operator (DEO) (08/25):
- Class XII pass from a recognized Board/Institution.
- Typing speed of 35 WPM (10,500 KDPH, 5 key depressions/word).
- 6-month Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized Board/Institution (Arunachal Pradesh Council for Technical Education/AICTE).
- Fishery Demonstrator (09/25): Class XII (Science) with Biology from a recognized Board.
- Laboratory Assistant (10/25):
- Essential: Class XII (Science) + Certificate Course in Laboratory Assistant from a recognized Institution.
- Desirable: 2 years practical experience.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (11/25): Same as DEO (Class XII, 35 WPM typing, 6-month Computer Diploma).
- Mandal (12/25): Class XII with Mathematics/Geography or Diploma in Civil/Survey Engineering + 3-month Certificate Course in GIS/ETS/Total Station/DGPS/Remote Sensing from a recognized Board/Institute.
- Sanitary Inspector (SI) (13/25): Class XII (Science) from a recognized Board.
- Urban Programme Inspector (UPI) (14/25): Class XII (Science) from a recognized Board.
- Note: Qualifications must be met by 21/07/2025; original certificates required during verification.
Age Limit (as on 21/07/2025)
- General: 18–35 years.
- Relaxations:
- APST: Up to 5 years.
- PwBD: 10 years (15 years for APST-PwBD).
- Ex-Servicemen (Ex-SM): Deduct military service period from actual age; resultant age must not exceed 35 years by more than 3 years.
- Note: Age relaxations per Arunachal Pradesh Government orders; no cumulative relaxation.
Other Conditions
- Nationality: Indian citizens only.
- PwBD Reservation: 1 vacancy (Mandal, Deaf & Hard of Hearing, ≥40% disability, certified by competent authority).
- Ex-SM Definition: As per Ex-Servicemen (Re-employment in Central Civil Services and Posts) Amendment Rules 2012/2020.
- Post Preference: Candidates must specify post and department preferences during application; no changes allowed post-submission.

- Stage-1: Written Examination (All Post Codes, 200 marks, 2 hours):

- General Awareness: 50 marks (25 Qs, 2 marks each)
- General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability: 50 marks (25 Qs, 2 marks each)
- Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: 50 marks (25 Qs, 2 marks each)

- Syllabus:
- General Awareness: Current events, History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/International Organizations, State-specific questions.
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal/figure classification, number series.
- Arithmetical & Numerical Ability: Number Systems, Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs.
- English Language & Comprehension: Error spotting, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling, idioms & phrases, one-word substitution, sentence improvement, active/passive voice, direct/indirect narration, sentence shuffling, cloze passage, comprehension.
- Qualifying Criteria: Minimum 33% in each subject; candidates scoring below 33% in any subject are ineligible.

- Stage-2: Skill Test (Post Codes 08/25, 11/25 only, qualifying nature):
- Typing Speed Test: 35 WPM (10,500 KDPH, 5 key depressions/word).
- Only Stage-1 shortlisted candidates (1:3 ratio) eligible.

- Final Merit: Based on Stage-1 marks (subject to Stage-2 qualification for DEO/LDC).
- Document Verification: At any stage; original documents (e.g., Class XII certificate, APST/PRC, PwBD certificate) required.
- Biometric Verification: To prevent impersonation; discrepancies lead to rejection.
- Medical Test: May be conducted for PwBD candidates if deemed necessary.

How to Apply
- Apply online only via www.apssb.nic.in from 01/07/2025 (10:00 AM) to 21/07/2025 (3:00 PM).
- Steps:
- Register on APSSB portal with valid email and mobile number.
- Upload scanned signature (10–50 KB, JPG/JPEG/PNG) and recent passport-size photo (50–100 KB, JPG/JPEG/PNG).
- Fill application form, indicate post/department preferences, and verify details.
- Pay application fee online.
- Download application form and e-receipt post-submission.
- Note:
- No offline applications accepted.
- Only the latest application considered for multiple submissions.
- No edits post-submission; incomplete/invalid applications rejected.

- APST: Rs. 150 (non-refundable).
- UR: Rs. 200 (non-refundable).
- PwBD: Nil.
- Payment Mode: Online only (debit card/credit card/Internet Banking/UPI).

Scribe Guidelines (for PwBD)
- Eligibility:
- PwBD (≥40% disability): Blindness, Both Arms Affected (BA), Cerebral Palsy, or others with certified writing difficulty (Annexure-I).
- PwD (<40% disability): Writing difficulty certified by Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent (Annexure-IA).
- Rules:
- Candidate arranges own scribe (not a candidate for this exam; qualification one step below candidate’s).
- Scribe details uploaded during application (Annexure-II/IIA).
- Scribe must carry original ID proof and submit signed photocopy.
- Compensatory time: 20 minutes per hour.
- Partially blind candidates may use magnifying glass (self-provided, with APSSB authorization).
- Violations (e.g., scribe assisting independently) lead to disqualification.
Examination Centres
- Options: Aalo, Bomdila, Changlang, Itanagar Capital Region (ICR), Khonsa, Namsai, Papumpare, Pasighat, Seppa, Tawang, Tezu, Ziro.
- Note:
- Candidates select 3 centres in order of preference; no changes allowed.
- APSSB may cancel/redirect centres without notice.
General Instructions
- Admit Card: Download from www.apssb.nic.in; no hard copies sent.
- Prohibited Items: Calculators, mobiles, smartwatches, etc., banned in exam halls.
- Misconduct: Impersonation, unfair means, or abusive language leads to debarment/FIR.
- Provisional Selection: Subject to document verification by appointing authority; no automatic appointment right.
- No Re-evaluation: Answer sheets not re-checked.
