NABARD invites applications for the post of Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMO) on a contractual basis with fixed hourly remuneration.

Contract Tenure:
- Initial engagement for 5 years (extendable up to 70 years).
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- MBBS degree (Allopathic system) from an MCI-recognized university.
- Postgraduate degree in General Medicine is desirable.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years as a medical practitioner in a hospital or clinic.
- Other Requirements:
- Residence or dispensary must be within a 3–5 km radius of NABARD premises.
Selection Process
- Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
- NABARD reserves the right to raise eligibility criteria to limit the number of candidates.
- Medical Fitness Certificate:
- Candidates must submit a certificate upon selection.
Key Duties of the BMO
- Administer injections and dressings.
- Issue credit slips for supply of special drugs/injections to approved chemists.
- Provide medical care for staff and their family members.
- Arrange hospital facilities for staff when required.
- Conduct detailed health check-ups and issue fitness certificates for prospective employees.
